In accordance with the guidelines issued by the Galician autonomous government’s General Secretariat for Universities, a new institutional assessment procedure has been designed and developed for CIGUS centres.
The associated work plan included the implementation of the following activities:
In 2023, a new evaluation process started and as a result two new centres were added into the Network. In the framework of this process, the documents developed in 2022 were updated.
Additionally, during these two evaluations, the Technical Office of the CIGUS Network was in charge of managing the evaluation procedures and accompanying them throughout the process.
The associated work plan included the implementation of the following activities:
- Drawing up the base document.
- Defining the criteria and indicators for analysis during the assessment process.
- Creating an assessment report model to be completed by all centres, as well as the associated indicator tables.
- Defining site visit structure and content.
- Drawing up the code of ethics that must be signed by the assessors.
- Creating an Excel model for data collection and calculating scores for assessors.
- Preparing the assessment report model.
- Drawing up the document detailing the reference terms for the 2022 assessment.
