Call for applications for the IX CiMUS Summer School grants 

The Center for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases (CiMUS), part of the CIGUS Network -an initiative promoted by the Xunta de Galicia that brings together centers within the Galician research system with proven scientific excellence,  launches a new call for its summer fellowship programme, through which 10 paid fellowships are offered, each with a gross allowance of €750, to undertake research stays in the centre’s research groups during the month of July. 

This initiative, corresponding to the ninth edition of the CiMUS Summer School programme, is aimed at undergraduate students interested in gaining their first experience in research in the field of Life Sciences. The stays will take place from 1 to 31 July and will allow the selected candidates to carry out a short research project under the supervision of a principal investigator at the centre. 

To be eligible, applicants must have completed at least 55% of the credits required for their undergraduate degree in Biology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Chemistry or a related discipline at any university, and must have an average grade of at least 8 out of 10.
