CINBIO’s PolyDeep project, winner of the Francisco Guitián Ojea Award

The PolyDeep project, an initiative of the CINBIO Research Centre, a CIGUS Network member, led by Miguel Reboiro and Daniel González from the SING group, received one of the 2022 awards for Technology Transfer in Galicia given by the Royal Galician Academy of Sciences (RAGC) in collaboration with the Galician autonomous government agency for innovation, GAIN.

PolyDeep received the Francisco Guitián Ojea Award in recognition of its work in applied research, acknowledging the research group’s achievements in creating a technology that has not yet been brought to market but which has clear applications for the development of Galician society and its economy”.

The award is endowed with a cash prize of €6,000 and the award ceremony took place on at 7 p.m. on 15th June at the Pazo de San Roque manor house in Santiago de Compostela.
