CiTIUS spin-off ‘InVerbis’ consolidates its growth with an investment of €400,000

‘InVerbis‘, a technology firm set up at the University of Santiago de Compostela’s Singular Centre for Research into Intelligent Technologies (CiTIUS), a member of the CIGUS Network, has recently received a €400,000 investment from Lugo City Council. The subsidy comes from the Lugo Transforma programme, the local authority’s venture capital fund, which intends to mobilise 12 million euros through a public entrepreneur fund designed to attract new investment to the city.
This funding will allow ‘InVerbis Analytics’ to continue consolidating its growth. The initiative has previously received financial support from Unirisco, the Galician universities’ venture capital fund, and from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation through the Neotec aid programme, continues to consolidate its growth. This latest injection of aid will allow the CiTIUS spin-off to work in depth on product updates focused on the verticality of intelligent solutions, as well as developing its communication and international presence.
‘InVerbis Analytics’
InVerbis is a technology-based company that markets a process analysis and improvement tool that is suitable for use by private enterprise and public administrations. The project was developed as part of research conducted at University of Santiago de Compostela’s Singular Centre for Research into Intelligent Technologies (CiTIUS), a member of the CIGUS Network. The initiative received funding from the IGNICIA programme of the Galician autonomous government’s Innovation Agency of the Xunta de Galicia, launched in collaboration with the Barrié Foundation.
The InVerbis team is made up of doctors, engineers with postgraduate training and real experience in various sectors such as health, logistics or services. Its evolution is proving extremely positive, especially in the international market. In less than three years, the team has successfully forged alliances with major international software companies such as Denodo, TimeXtender or CERNER, among others.
